Ironsmith's selection of extra large tree grates is second to none; many grates in sizes larger than 72" are offered.

The Market Street grates are especially popular for oversize applications, because they can be combined to create unique configurations, and there is some flexibility in positioning the tree opening.

Starburst grates are also widely used in oversize applications as illustrated by the photos at the left. 84" Starburst grates allow pedestrians and trees to co-exist on Las Vegas Boulevard. In the same city, extra large 96" Starburst grates with four foot tree openings are used by a major hotel and casino around the dozens of mature palm tree in pedestrian areas, to gain valuable real estate.
